Mike is Senior Vice President – Enterprise Risk Leader for Synchrony Financial. Prior to this role Mike was the SVP – CFO for GE Capital Retail Bank a $60 B Federal Savings Bank based in Salt Lake City, Utah. In his prior role Mike was the CFO and later the Chief Operations Officer for GE Capital’s Corporate Payment Services business. Mike held various roles in GE Capital Retail Finance, including VP Finance – Business Development and Manager of Finance for the GAP Inc. relationship. Mr. Lagnese has a breadth of financial industry experience, with 25 years of experience in all aspects of financial acumen. Prior to GE, Mr. Lagnese held various positions with First Union and Bank of America in their consumer finance organizations based in Charlotte, NC. He began his career at KPMG as an auditor in the Long Island office.

Mike holds a BS in Accounting from St. John’s University, Queens NY.

Mike is married with three children and lives in Westport, CT.
